Yuck

What a miserable week in Sydney. We were lured into a false sense of security by the warm weather over the last month and then just when we thought it was safe, winter pounced on us.

Rain, wind. big seas, rain, rain and rain.

I walked the dog around the coast thinking I was lucky to find a break in the rain, then couldn’t believe my eyes when the sun made a brief appearance.

I wasn’t the only one down checking out the big surf, the break off Tamarama and MacKenzies had attracted a few surfers and a few spectators.

I would have been out there but hey, someone has to take the pictures.

That no smoking sign at Tamarama is a beautiful feature and well worth lighting up at night.

Well it was that but next year they may have to up the ante a bit.

The festival of light was great as usual but usual over powered great for me this year.          It felt like much bigger crowds and whilst looking up you were likely to either collide with someone or take an up planned dip in the harbour.

More kids with light sabers I say, or maybe it just needed fog.
