perfect days

One of those days that holidays are all about, when you have watched the sun come up and watched it go down and enjoyed everything in between.

Lying in is also good but this just can’t be beaten.

The first of my personal projects is now loaded up on my website.

Train Spotting is a series of images taken from moving trains on a recent trip to the UK.

what’s it all about

Buggered if I know but the journey of trying to find out can be fun and seeing as I’m a visually lead person I’m going to try to share my journey with pictures and a few words to fluff it up a bit.

The journey so far is best described with a look at my website.  It’s a new site which will eventually have a balance of my commercial work and my personal projects. The personal projects is the most exciting part for me as it gives me a way to show bodies of work that I haven’t shown anyone before. I’ll be loading these up as they come together so if you want to know when new work goes up please follow the blog.

You’ll also notice the abundance of ocean images in the mix. Alongside my love of photography sits a love of fishing and the ocean. Most of my imagery is captured by getting in amongst what is happening and my fishing is done the same way, I fish from a kayak, I take a rod (or four) and a camera (or two) and I try to capture something with both. Unfortunately or fortunately the best photographs and the best fish come around at the same time, some days the camera wins and other days my family get to eat fresh fish.

This blog will be a mix of these elements but always lead by photography as I try to work out ‘what it’s all about’.
